apart from built up areas obv 30 and theres the odd, 40 and 60. But where u see the sign over here which means national speed limit applys, over there it means go as fast as ya can to the conditions of the road and wether etc.

I go there almost every month and its nothing to write home about to be fair. Other than Douglas its boring as fuck. Its easy to get pulled for "dangerous driving" or furious driving as someone said (not sure if thats true but it probably is) and it nearly ALWAYS rains. What is different, is that on some roads it tells you how many people have died on that road in the past 3 years and numbers are crossed out as they've gone up/down etc. seems quite strange.
Its about £200 (changes all the time) to take a car over from Liverpool / Heysham, have a look on http://www.steam-packet.com and you should get sorted out.

True no speed limits in the countryside in places but with the roads curving and hairpins every so often is it wise to be pelting full speed into them
