If u have these installed and u turn on ure headlights does it shine blue or normal colour as i dont want blue headlights. also what happens if the pigs pull u over and u have these on. one more thing, is there a certain sidelight bulb i need or are they universal?? Cheers lads

depends which ones you get chris, as you can get ones called sportz blue which are really blue when the sidelights are on and slightly blue with headlights on or there are others that have a blue tint to them but nothing ott.
there should be a sidelight bulb for the saxo itself, just have a look in the applications books they have on the shelves.

you need the 501 coded ones. the sidelights remain on when the headlights come on so if they are strong blue then they will most likely show a bit of blue tint through. If the police stop you then you could expect a producer and a MOT producer which basically means you will have to remove the bulbs, pay for an mot and have to take that to the station.

No, maybe if they caught you loads of times or they could possibly try and do you for impersonating a police vehicle BUT for the sake of some blue lights your willing to pay 40 odd quid for an mot everytime they stop you? Or the hassle of a producer or even the hassle of being stopped, delayed ten minutes then getting a warning?

ive been stopped for having green sidelights before, the cop only noticed coz i was parked up with pals, with side lights on.
he came over a told me to go home and change them, i was only allowed normal or yellow, so i went home and put yellow 1s in, he seen me later on a checked them, he was pissing himself laffing as i was an awkward cunt for putting the yellow 1s in!!!! LOL
you can get some super brite led sidelights off ebay, they are quality and better than the blue painted type. i got some a while ago.

I got some blue sidelight and i have never been pulled with them, as when you have normal lights on you cant not see them, they just got a blue tint but they are only illegal if you drive with them on and they will tell you to change them.
