Default help with tyres

i bought some vtr alloys today. When i got home i had a look at the tyres.. They all have very good tread!.. But i noticed on 2 of them that the side walls are cracking all the way round. Do i need to replace these tyres? I want to make sure ive got good tyres on before i sand them down and spray them as the paint will come off if i have tyres changed afterwards.

some cracks are ok but depending on size they can be dangerous

i personally would change them but im a bit piccy about the 4 tiny bits of rubber that hold my car to the road

never buy second hand tyres. They're the main thing that touch the road, its like buying second hand brakes. You dont really know how they've been treated!

as above
tyres are overlooked so often
make sure they are in good condition and inflated properly

otherwise your playing with not only your own life but of your friends/family who come in the car and of other road users
