Default VTR Wheel Bolts

Ive just bought a set of second hand VTR alloys to put on my 1.1, only problem is after removing the steelie it seems the standard bolts are too short and i dont particulary want to risk it on half the thread.

Just wondering if they are ment to be different bolts or if this is normal for the standard bolts?

If i do need to get some VTR bolts then can anyone suggest where from?

Many thanks

hi mate just had exact same problem. you cant use steelie bolts for the vtr wheels because they have a tapered neck and will 99% of the time work loose. therefore you need bolts that have a flat neck and a washer and are also a bit longer. You can get these from citroen or peugeot for about 2.80 each or ask about on here if anyones got some and will probs be cheaper!

Just thought id update and let everyone know. There was some confusion at the dealership, as apparently there are 4 different types of bolts for those alloys depending on the year of the model the alloys are from.

But just thought id let you know that the ones i have purchased were only £1.31 each +VAT
