Default Engine Cleaning, Step By Step Guide By Myself

CLEANING YOU SAXO ENGINE
(By Gurj Sagoo)

Ok folks, so you got yourself a saxo. 9 times out of 10 the engine will be a complete mess, gunk, grease, all shit every where, basically looks a complete mess. One of the things to really bring out the image when lifting up the bonnet is a nice clean engine.

Lets get down to business

The stuff you need

Pressure Washer or Steam Washer

Gunk Spray or any Spray that will clear the grease.

Trim Shiner

Wax

Rags

Bin Liners

Ok time to get down to business

1. Open your bonnet by first opening the car door, and pulling the orange lever on the passenger side (If you don’t know how to do that, then you’re a complete flop, and you haven’t got a clue about cars

2. Life up the bonnet and then attach the hook which hold the bonnet up

3. Using bin liners or black bags, cover the following areas

ECU

FUSE BOX

FUSE BOX

ALARM

BRAKE FLUID

BLOCK CONNECTOR LOCATED NEAR THE BATTERY

4. Using you gunk spray, apply this this to the whole engine, besides the parts you covered

5. Using the pressure washer, give light blasts. Don’t be a hero and give constant pressure. Do this several times, in different directions.

6. Remove the bags and start you engine, this will dry the water. Apply a light coat of wax on the sides of the body work.

7. Using your trim shiner (black) , apply this on all the black parts you see, fuse box, covers bla bla.

And this is the end result

Of course my rockers hasn’t been painted but the grease has completely come off
Parts which a movement parts, such as clutch cable etc. Apply some WD40 etc

And that’s it

Please say thanks to me of you like this guide
