Ducks n shit
Next to where I live we've got a lake that been steadily increasing in popularity with birds n shit. Herons, ducks, moorhens and some Canadian Geese... anyway they just popped out some sprogs so went to feed them and take a couple of pics.

Mother watching over them - the bitch was wicked before she had kids, like you could feed her by hand. now she's mad as foooook... much like female humans.
Dad helping himself...
sitting down for dindins...

nope man, it's a bit too short when you've got crazy ass parents hissing at you... so opted for the safety of the 70-200 with the 1.4x extender

Oh right they look cracking. You done any editing to them?
I think i kind of know why my 70-300 isnt always sharp i think i try and use a shutter speed thats too slow so get a bit of camera shake. So when i look at the image on the LCD it looks alright but put it on laptop and its shite.

looks nice and sharp considering you used an extender. does it still use auto focus or do you have to go to manual?

yep remember the '1/focal length' rule, so you have a lens at 50mm the minimum you should be shooting is 1/50, using a 200mm focal length, shoot 1/200.
^^^ thats for full frame cameras though! you really if you're using a 50mm lens, you need to have your minimum focal 1/(50 x 1.6) so 1/80.
for the 200 focal length 1/(200 x 1.6) so 1/320
etc etc... so beeeee careful!

It's the best 1.4x extender you can get, but it doesn't cost a bomb which is sweet nope still uses autofocus dude
