Danborambo's Posi blue MK1 VTR progress thread.
Right well heres my new thread, and before anyone says " you already have a thread " blah, That one was my 1.1 thread and it had quite abit of spam on it tbh.....
So anyway fresh start on a thread for the VTR now as i have big plans.
Got the car for 500 there way + My old car in PX
Car was pretty much standard when i got it, with 75k on the clock, The only mod the car had when i got it was a straight through exhaust.
Future plans- Lowered 45 mm
- De wipered
- Replace front bumper with VT* one
- Full respray
- Smoked rears and fronts
- Going to try get myself a cream interior
- Lots of engine mods to come at a later date
- Debadged
- Mesh grill
- HOPEFULLY Euro wheels
- VT* spoiler
What i have done to it as of this post -- Sprayed the VTR wheels black
- Sprayed the rear badges black
- Replaced one side wing mirror
- Bought a 750 watt sub
I have stated above in my future plans about replacing the front bumper, but i'm just letting you know that at the moment it has a flatarch front bumper, i dont think it looks too out of place IMO, So if anyone has a posi blue front VT* bumper, Let me know!
No spam please, but just show some interest
Anyway onto the pictures -
This is what it looked like when i got hold of it.
Got straight onto the wheels, Got my friend off corsa forum to do them for me and they look quality i think
Added my FCS sticker
Shined her up
Couple of pics from FCS with JAM3Z

Oh dear.... Someones had ago at nicking my subwoofer Luckily it was broke and was off somewhere being fixed, but to get in they have bent my door and just lifted the pin up, now i have a bent door So annoying how people like this just slow progress down and cost you more money, will get pics up of door soon.

Just commented on that pic in "show best pic of your ride" thread
Said that pressed plates and a piper outward rolled exhaust would set it off a treat. Oh and get it lowered.
Bad luck about the door mate, de pin it ftw!

Sorry to hear about the door fiasco mate. Hope you sort it out soon mayte.
Much better than the 1.1.
I've got a toad alarm fitted and removed and smoothed over my driver/passenger door locks - so it keeps the lil bastards at bay, also has a proximity sensor so scares them even before they get close

Got new plans for the car as i currently now have a job, so the project is going to get moving, i have had a photoshop done by my mate of what im going to be going for, also been lowered on it. Havn't added any of my mods on the photoshop like lights etc or grille but this is just an idea of where im going
Let me know what you think
(The top cut doesnt have the black going towards the bonnet, but you get the idea)
Anyone know what something like this would cost me? dont know much about resprays

depends on how good you want it mate, you get what you pay for with paintwork imo.
i would say to have that done would cost £400 - 600 ish
Why did it have a non vt front bumper matey??

Came with the car, dont actually know why at all, but it has had no crashes, as i have the history of it, someone just must have bought the wrong one.
Its on my list of things to do, keep checking on here for any posi blue ones but everyone ive seen has been too far
