car crashed :(
unfortuantly i crashed my car on the way home from work down the lanes on friday hit a puddle and totally lost control half way round a corner, was doing around 50 tryed to correct but had no chance of saving it. really fucking bummed about it one of my queries is does a vt bumber sit right on a flat arch without havin the vt arches??? got a few pics they make the damage not look as bad as it is plus the back end is a bit damaged the boot looks twisted i think it from the sub nailing it when it spun and its pushed the exhaust in and bent the rear bumper in.
you can see the puddle ive hit to lose it below, the first entrance in the hedge is my front end and the second is where it spun and hit the rear
thought i would share this with you constructive comments welcome
most of you will probs just think am a nob, im just gutted n wanted to share it with you guys

I assume you mean the strut.
Tiny puddle, what tyres are you using? Are you sure it wasn't more than the puddle that caused it?

unless you've buggered anything suspension wise, its new wing + bumper, light and indicator then you're good to go!
but how did you manage that? i've hit some fucking massive puddles in my time and keep it in check!

imo that is too fast for that corner, slow it down a bit but anyways i think it is repairable but i've seen less damage than that and the chassis leg bent in, especially as you hit on the side. not looking good, check the chassis.

look at pic 3 and pic 6 the bottom crossmember is curved upwards as a result of the chassis leg bending inwards, that bottom crossmember is supposed to be horozontal.
remove the battery etc, and see if the fuse box (the big box near the wing) can be opened and look for abnormal creases in that area and near the gearbox mount. but am pretty sure that is fubar, in terms of chassis leg.
eg:
crash damage
actual damage:
Very similar damage to yours.

wouldn't say that but it doesn't look hopeful, but be positive and remove the battery and take a pic similar to the one above then we shall see.
