Renault World Series Pics - Saturday
here are just a few of my pics from the renault world series, the weather/ lighting kepting changing which was a bit of a pain and as there were so many people there you couldnt really move around much. it was more a case of find a good view and stay there.
anyway my pics are best viewed in flickr slide show mode so you dont have to open up each thumbnail
(make sure under options that embiggen small things to fill screen is not selected otherwise it will stretch the pics and make them look shite)

Which part of the circuit were you? I was at Club for the 3.5 race.

ah cool i wanted to venture down to the back part of the circuit but didnt really get time, whats it like down there. i find that it is possible to shoot over fence from the grandstands at maggotts and luffield

Its very quiet compared to the other end (in terms of people).
Several people locked up the 3.5s coming into Club.
I took videos as the pics were all blurry.

some cool vids mate, thats the only thing which annoys me about silverstone is the fences, on some of the small events where they use club straight it is better as you can get trackside without a wire fence

Ive got several on my phone too (LQ, ftl  ) I need to put up.
When I heard the Ren F1 coming, I was along Maggots and down the bank so ran up to see as it was WTF moment lol. Not as loud as I thought they would be tbh.

Haha that Turbo 2 that did donuts was funny, thought he was doing it for a laugh at first, but can't help thinking it was rehearsed hence why he got away with it for so long. If it was just for a laugh i'dve found it better. Good skill though.

Really annoyed i only bought my 50mm for this, no idea why ?!
Was down on the Hangar Straight for a while managed to squeeze the camera through the fence lol
I meant the blur
