Second car
Okay looking to be using the vts as strictly fun car and track car after christmas so looking at a second car to use as a daily.
Ideally it needs to look decent, speed isnt important, comfort is, obviously cheeeeaaapppp insurance also needs to reliable and need as little work doing to it as possible. Estate would be handy for weekends away.
So far been looking at a few cars
Vectra 1.6
Astra 1.4
Focus 1.6
mk4 golf
old merc of some sort
e36 tourer.
Anybody got any other ideas? Any of you using a cheap second car as a daily driver. Help would be good as im a little stuck at what to go for at the minute. Budget is £1000 but would like to be lower.

Thats a good point. Think i might be edging towards a turbo diesel 306. Seem reliable cheap to buy and insure dont look too bad with a set of cyclones on and apparently quite fun to drive.
