Default CV Boot Kit, easy to fit??

Does anyone know how easy these are to do?

Are there any specialist tools required?

the boot covers the joint and can be replaced, you can get them at any good car spares shop they cost around £10

Found them on ebay

How easy are these to fit? What tools are needed? Anything specialist?

you can just change the boot, but you need to take the driveshaft off to do it properly, (there are kits that you can put on without takeing the shaft off, but they are crap), i would personally change the whole drive shaft for wot they cost, you could change the boot, but the cv joint could already be damaged, just change the whole shaft

Cheers,

that's what i'm thinking, my mechanic advised to change the drive shaft, they are only £50, and these cheap fixes rarely work in my opinion.

Cheers.

just change the shaft, i replaced a boot before and it was so awkward plus food tasted like CV joint grease for days.
