Yeah yeah I agree, Simon, Sigh, mon.
So either way it's Sigh, Mo.
There's no Z (tssss) sound, or ttttsssssssssssim-o. Sigh, mo.

when ya pronounce it symo ya reading it like 2 words? whats it short for?
my mates called simon pronouned si mon. n we call him si for short pronounced syy :l

It's exactly like Simon (sigh-mon), but instead of the 'mon' it's just 'mo'
