foolish question!

hi people, bleeding cooling system today and just want to know how much the radiator bleed switch should turn as mine only turns a small amount round.
should it keep turning? don't want to snap it off if not lol. many thanks!

Illd just empty the whole system and re-fill with water n anti freeze, disconect bottom hose off rad etc...

you add anti freeze where you add water, which is the top of the radiator, remember to bleed the system after you've done this to get rid of unwanted air, you do this by turning the little cap at the end of the radiator (right hand side) and and by unscrewing the valve at the rear left and holding the nipple down (like a tyre valve), theres also another on the thermostat on the 16v models am unsure if its on the lower spec saxos, hope that helps

if i remember right its only around a quater to half a turn
