Default rust, exhaust

was wondering if theres anyway to remove rust on the tip of my exhaust, looks an eye sore, letting car down abit.

also whilst im here, usually just use sponge and water to clean cars and any old clean cloth to dry it, but today for the first time i bought a microfibre mitt and a chamois leather. the difference is amazing

process is:

hose down
use microfibre mitt and halfords basic shampoo stuff.
rinse of
dry with chamois leather

basic i know, what could i add to the process to do a much better job?

something simple, as im new to this cleaning lark lol

Wire wool as said before.

If you want to be cheap (don't think wire wool is expensive?) you can just use aluminium foil and coke.
