Default 2002 citreon saxo vts silver *Exhaust comparrison videos* -->BIG UPDATE KAMRACNG EXHAUST SYSTEM ON & 23MM MC<----

Hi guys, i have been on saxp for while now and did have a 1.4 mango westcoast phase 1 that i was slowly doing up to my tastes. ive now got my hands on a cracking vts and am going to make a start now on this.

the current spec of the car is as follows

Suspension / Chassis:
- Bilstein group N damper inserts up front with custom made Faulkner springs (180lbs / 240mm)
- Bilstein B8 rear dampers.
- OMP lower strut brace (brace / dampers & springs all fitted at around 62K miles)

Wheels and brake's:
- Standard VTS 15”
- Wilwood Midilite 4pot brakes up front with EBC yellow stuff brake pads and 283mm vented discs
- Standard rear brake callipers with Mintex pads and discs
- CL dot4 racing brake fluid.
- Exact braided brake lines.

everything else is the standard of a vts

Mod's to come...

Exterior:
- Smoked headlights and smoked jewels on the back DONE
- Smoked fog lights and smoked side repeaters
- clio style toweing eye
- colour coded grill
- gloss black citreon saxo badges DONE
- HEKO wind deflectors DONE

suspension and chassis:
- powerflex bushes all round
- baker group n engine mount kit
- Possibly new uprated torsion bar (am unsure yet)

Wheels and brake's:
- wheels will either be, team dynamic 1.2's gloss black, oz lightweight race wheels gloss bloack (unsure which model yet)
- 23mm master cylinder DONE

IF I DECIDE NOT TO STRIP IT OUT AND PUT A ROLL CAGE IN
- rainbow 6" comps up front and rainbow 5" comps in back runing on a rainbow ipaul 4.3
- 1 12" rainbow subwoofer running off there mono amp, all amps to be hidden under false floor with fans running to cool them.
- gti full leathers
- kennwood dvd headunit

And wayyyy down the line if i havent got something else like a clio 182:

Atspeed turbo kit, with forged internals, running safe amount of boost is what i would like in the future but who knows.

Anyway a few pic's not long after i bought it (put the carbon bits on after i bought it)

the sound is awsome tbh i cant fault it, im not a fan of open cone but do like the sound haha, at about 5-6k revs it sounds slightly like a turbo lol it has so much suck, does put a smile on your face when you drive it fast. im after a BMC or pro comp for the carbon look and pure cold air feed thats why ill be getting rid of this one. but this k&n is very exspensive its one of the models fetching £180+ new

Ok, thought it was about time to keep going with this so made a few purchases, and eventully got them through the post, also did a couple of things myself , anyways got a set of heko wind deflectors of ebay and really love them, they look really slick and drving at 0-80 there is barely any horrible wind flap coming through the windows

I then set about smoking my headlights on one of my days off (roped my dad into helping me seeing as he is a mechanic lol) following the guide on the styling section i shoved them in the over for about 6 mins and pulled them apart

Then spent about 10 mins sanding them down and began coating them with primer

then some gloss black paint and a couple of coats of lacker

and finally put them back on the car, and i must say i really do love them, i think it really is an awsome easy mod to do.

Today seeing as it was a nice day i decided to give my car a "quick" 5 hour detail, before i picked my friends up to go cliff jumping at spitchwick lol so snowfoamed it, rinsed, then foamed again, then rinsed, then washed with dodo juice born to be mild using 2bm, after that clayed the whole car using dodo juice slippery clay lue and cyc green clay bars, then snowfoamed again (had some left in the bottle, and finally rinsed again with the pressure washer. and to finish it off a coat of dodo juice red mist ( love that stuff )

piccys

snowfoaming

cleaned

**New update today**

decided to pop down to citreon and by a bonnet clip to hold the rod up that holds the bonnet when its open, heres the new one, was only £1.00 from citreon so couldnt argue with that

It was originaly being held up by a rubber band whitch looked really tacky

and there we go, little fix for the day just before i go and start my night shift at 7
