Cherry Bomb Exhaust
Just wondering if these would fit a saxo well? Fit inside the recess? Just wondering as a friend of mine has put one on his 205, and sounds lovely.
Any help would be great, Thanks.

Ok thanks bud, Think it would come out of the recess? As the pipe on my back box bends, and the cherry bomb is a straight box..

had 1 on my vtr,as you said it a straight box and will com out at an angle if you dont get a bend but on the pipe you weld on to it,but other wise sound really impresive!

i have had them on a few cars and they do sound nice, when i had my escort, i had a hole in the cossie bumper to get the exhaust out, it had to be cock on, cossie tailpipe didnt fit as it was a rs200, so i got hold of a cheery bomb system, we fitted it using a length of flexi exhaust tube, bent it into shape and clamped it to the exhaust pipe and cherry bomb, it worked a treat, never moved and never leaked, passed mot's all the time. it was cheap enough to do ;D

So i would need to bend the pipe off the back box then? Or are there any saxo centre sections that would be a straight fit for the cherry bomb? Doubt it but worth the ask

I disagree, someone at my work had one on his VTR with the standard centre section and it sounded really nice.
I can imagine on a 16v it might sound a bit shit but tbh the sound reminds me of a Supersprint.

well depends what your personal preferance is, whether you can call it chav.
If you're worried about being a chav then dont drive a saxo lol
Cant stand the gay-arse supersprints everyones getting these days. Theyre smaller than standard and just look like a little pea shooter in the exhaust recess

This. Not worth the hassle of a good fit, passing an mot is a maybe. Personally the money would be better spent elsewhere...
