Default new car new ideas

ok so the saxo's gone to the grave yard. after a hard decision i decided to have a change n went for a black mk2 ph2 clio 1.2 16v on a 51plate now i know there not a sax but wanted to keep with the french scene with a small hatch and a small engine (keep the insurance down) just love its shakin your ass backend haha.

ok so plans are get my audio in some detailing, big brake kit r-tech 182 style exthaust, coilovers, strut braces, look at making a custom throttle body/ air box system as the standard are gash, hid conversion, smoke or tint the rear windows, n thats prety much it better handlin n a few stylin changes notin radical.

ok so the car as it stands now its a clio obvs lol 1.2 16v dynamique

got some of my audio in already

got a philips headunit actualy prety decent the misses bought me it not knowing i still have the double din and a blaupunkt form the saxo's haha but am happy with it nice n controlled.

alpine comps front and rear (already in by who owned last)
jbl 6ins parcel shelf shit i disconected these waiting on finding a untouched parcel shelf now.

a 12'' vibe slick sub and vibe amp actualy prety good i fink for what im using it for nice and controlled base not overpowering everything, but flick the sub button on the hd n it realy punches above its weight.

well every thing else is factory spec but getting on the spend this weekend so ill post later tonight or tomorrow what iv bought for it.

pics arnt the best as there off my phone but ill get some better this weekend when shes had a bath haha

yea ive noticed other forums really are boring you can post on someones progress blog and takes 2 days for any one to notice youve put a comment up ha nothing wrong with a small engined car that looks good, low and slow! especially with the price of fuel i dont no how long ill be keeping the throttle bodied vts! might be going for a trusty old 1.5d desire! lol

i know exactly what you mean its a big change goin from a vts to a small engined hatch you feel like your crawling haha sayin that the lil clio isnt half a good handler it lacks in power but av caught up with quicker cars through the bends effortlessly. yh agree about the other car forums takes ages for a reply then when they do they look down on ppl with small engines makes me laugh because iv had cars that would kill 2liter clios, i v went for smaller so i can save for a house n get rid of a lil running cost's lol

This is the second time i've seen the same comment from you in different threads. If you dont like it, hit the back button or even better, press ctrl+F5 at the same time.

Besides the fact that about 1/4 of the people here dont even own saxo's, it's nice to see other marques.
