so thinking bout doing a vtr engine change on ma flatarch and was wondering is it a straight swap or is there differet things i need for example if i was to get and engine, loom and ecu would it all go straight in or would it need to be as people say spliced ????

if you get an engine of the same year theres no need for any splicing, also need to make sure the ecu is unlocked

I've done this swap before
Didn't have to swap ecu or engine mount

I put a 3plug vtr in a 3 plug 1.1
No splicing, just as easy as unplugging the engine in there now then plugging it back in again!

I ran the 1.1 ecu for about a month then got a vtr ecu

If you need help pm me mate
