Hi all. Quick review from me, don't do many reviews but think these are worth it:
What is it?
Standard and Low subframe's for 106's / Saxo's.
What does it bring to the table?
A good alternative to OMP frames. With a low version available for those taller drivers and those looking for more head room on track cars.
What am i testing it on?
Mk1 Saxo
What do i think of it?
Subframe - Ive bought two frames from Ben and am very impressed. They come drilled, welded and in a matt black colour.
There is a handy eye bolt fixing as well for the center harness bolt. Which is very strong with great welds.
You have to drill the holes to connect your own side mounts but as all sets are different, this is to be expected.
Seat feels stable, strong with no movement once bolted down.
Only problem i had was finding a nut to fit to the eye bolt in the center fixing as its a big bolt with a fine thread. Ended up buying a bolt/plate combo and cutting the bolt off to fit it.
Only reservation i will say is that the low mount is, as it says, low. Very low infact. With a good quality seat and my current wheel / snap off combo it put the wheel right in my eye line. Something that you can get used to but i prefer to be a bit taller anyway.
All in all a very good quality bit of kit.
Packaging - This is how my mounts came:

Well packaged in my opinion.
This is what you get inside:

Delivery / Turnaround - Probably the most impressed i was, was the delievery and turnaround in which Ben does this.
Remember he makes every mount to order, and is only one person.
Id expect a big company with alot of stock and staff to get things out quickly, but Ben has done this by himself.
I emailed him and sent the cash on a Wednesday evening, he made the mount Thursday and i received another email Friday morning saying it was on its way to me.
Actually got to me quicker than a parcel i ordered at the same time from demon tweeks. Very Impressed!
All in all a very good product that id recommended to anyone who needs a good seat subframe.
