VTR starting problem with video!
Right. Our VTR has had no problems for the couple of years we have had it.
Now she's started doing this after being sat for a while:
Any ideas?
Need to sort this asap!

Going to change the fuel filter but the one thats on is only 12 months old. The starter motor is fine it's just not starting and keeping going.
Don't know if i said but the car you can hear running is the works car, i was putting some charge in the battery.

I maybe missing the point totally here but as your trying start the engine there are fumes/gases being blown out at the top left.Which to me doesn`t sound right.

Exactly what I was meaning when I posted,I had to listen carefully because that engine sounds more like a diesel than a petrol engine.

Yeah sorry the engine noise is my diesel work car. It's spitting out white smoke from the breather pipes. Yes it does sound rough and yes it gets service regularly. I've cleaned up the icv and blown through some pipes to make sure it's not got a blockage and it sounds better but when it starts now, it sounds like it's only firing on 3 cylinders.
