Estimated, because I haven't engine dyno'd this particular engine, but my other engines of the same spec that I have engine dyno'd are all in the region of 220bhp and 150lbft, absolute on calibrated and DIN corrected engine dyno. As said above though, it's the delivery that's most important rather than peak figures.
If the car is what you want/need, the price is competitive. It's a fraction of what the overall build cost and quite possibly the best set up circuit 106 in the country. The engine alone would cost almost £10,000 new; the chassis is alot more sophisticated than explained there, the front end has revised pick up locations (much improved geometry), braced wishbones with bronze bushings, special dampers to allow greater travel at low ride height. The rear has revised geometry beam with re-located dampers (improved damper-wheel displacement ratio), with additional coilover springs, that's alot of work! The cage is extensively triangulated for chassis rigidity and the brakes work really well, with none of the problems other people seem to have with these. It's a bargain in my eyes!
If you want to see it in action, here's some footage from the MotorsTV live race day, gives a good impression of how well the car works:
The top five shown there are:
Rover 220 2.0 Turbo, white, claimed ~500bhp
Nick's 106 1.6 N/A SB engine (2011 spec), diablo red
Audi TT 2.0 Turbo, yellow, claimed ~450bhp
Dolley's 206 2.1 N/A SB engine, orange
Kift's 106 1.6 N/A SB engine (2009 spec), white/red
