I'v Gone JAP!
Well, after 6 years driving, 8 French cars, I decided its finally time I try out a car from another part of the world..
Trawling through ebay last night, I searched cars under 500 quid within 50 miles of where I live.. Plenty of sheds turned up, then a car listed as "Honda Convertible"
So i took a gander, and it was a Honda CRX Del Sol.. Used to look at these a few years back and think they were half decent, So i slapped a 500 quid bid onto it to see what happens, sat in the pub, and get a notification from my ebay app, unexpectedly id won!!
Going to pick it up tomorrow..
500 quid
11 Months MOT
4 Months Tax
FSH
All previous MOT's
And a massive envelope full of receipts..
Its only the 1.6 16V ESI, so no Vtec, but i dont want to spend a fortune on fuel anyway, and they are 123BHP Standard, so not bad at all really..
These are the ebay pics, once its home il give it all a good clean and underseal, since its a good 20 years old, then get some proper pictures and start a progress thread with any bits and bobs i do to it

Thats a great car for £500. Doubt it will ever go wrong, well not break down as many times as a saxo.
Full comp is sometimes cheaper as the insurance company look at it as though you look after the car more. So if the car were to be involved in a accident both cars would be repaired, instead of the other car involved.

Looks a good buy for £500 with the amount of MOT and tax. They're quite fun to drive, I had go in one, it must be nearly 7 years ago now, and I was surprised how stable it was. That was compared to my 12 year old Orion at the time though!

Exactly mate, only looking for something to run for abit, if it turns out all good condition, il do bits to it, not looking for big power either, got sick of hammering fuel into my megane, so hopefully the 1.6 will be miles less thirsty!
