Default Wiring loom help!!

I own a p reg saxo vtr single plug and have just bought a 16v but it was from a 106 still a single plug ecu though, but after a conversation with pug1off I've just been told I'll have to send my ecu to them to have it rewired cause apparently it's not plug in and play. Can anyone confirm if this is true as they're asking for £120 for the work!

You will need matching immobiliser, ecu and transponder key from the 16v or an unlocked ecu for it to start. I think that's what they mean by rewire unlocking the ecu

the 106 gti loom is different to the saxo vts looms.

Best off finding a saxo loom tbh; be cheaper and imo better.

So if I was to get a saxo vts loom it would be plug in and play?
And of you or know anybody selling a vts loom then I'd be interested in buying it

Thanks for the help and advice
