Default How do I get that wet look??

Guys,
What do you use to get that ultra wet look??
I have just bought a red vts, the paint is quite flat tbh..
So far i've only give her quick wash&wax..

These are my normal steps.. just never seem to get a wet look finish..

1: Rince with hose
2: Wash with Mit, wash&wax
3: Towl dry
4: 2 coats of SRP
5: 1 coat of extra gloss.

Is it due to the polish?
Or
Am I missing somthing?

Never used it, but this product seems to fit your needs.

Quick cut with a machine polish if the paints pretty tired, then try sealing or waxing. Venetian Red should take a nice gloss, guy near me used to have a VR Saxo and that was always glossy as fuck.

clay, machine or hand polish, cleanse, wax or sealant, glaze.

Glaze can go either before or after the LSP. - or both.

I'd say to keep it simple:

Wash with 2 bucket method.
Garden blower it dry.

Clay with a decent lube
Rewash (1 bucket should be fine at this stage)

Dry

Polish by hand with something like AG SRP using clean towels to wipe the residue.

Seal with something like Poorboys sealant. Leave for a few hours

Then use a soft wax to build up a glaze. Might take 2-3 layers but the more you do now the easier it will be to maintain.

ALWAYS USE CLEAN CLOTHS FOR EACH STAGE TO APPLY THEN BUFF

The glaze is the main thing that gives you the wet look along with a good sealant. Give your car a clay and polish by machine or hand then try something like a coat or 2 of poorboys black hole glaze and top It with a layer or 2 of dodo juice supernatural hybrid.
