Angry tapping sound

I've just replaced the coil pack and spark plugs on my vtr, not long after, when I started the car up there was a strange knocking sound coming from the top of the engine, when I rev the car slightly it seems to get quicker as the revs build up and slows down as the revs drop....
Any ideas guys? Cheers. Ado.

Did you drop something underneath the coil pack

Or even in the cylinder?

Honestly some of the replies here are retarded. A loose spark plug can make a tapping noise, so can Tappets but why would they be set wrong if they haven't been touched?
