Problem you face doing that is, it's only going to be a guestimate. You could lower it 50mm and it might be 25mm or 90mm when fitted to the car

Yeah, you don't know how low it'll sit once the weight of the car is on it. So you may lower it say 25mm off the car, but with the weight of the car on it, it'll be more like 55mm...maybe google a guide as to how many clicks lower it by how much and go from there?

Yeah I will have a look I bought the car already lowered by about 60mm so if I get a new axle I need it to match the front il probly put it on the car and find some1 local then as don't want to mess it up

If you're getting the axle from IM axles then they can lower it before they send it out!
They're not always that accurate though bit better than nothing!

yeah just to pull you up on that. I was at IM axles last week for a beam lowered 40mm and once it was fitted, it wasn't lol. They lowered it to 40mm for me.(which was nice of them as they were bloody busy). Jigs and D4MJT had a beam too from them and it wasn't at x mm they wanted. It's purely a guesstimate really.

Yeah mine was meant to be 50, was more like 20-30, but seen as though the axles from there are so good and they're all greased up correctly then it was just an hours job to lower it to what I wanted

Jack the rear of the car up, remove the shocks then make dummy shocks out of blocks of wood for both sides then remove them.
Fit your new axle, knock the torsion bars out fit the dummy's then refit the torsion bar. Should be the exact same hight as your old one.

You are deffo going to want to take measurements BEFORE you start taking the torsion bars out, otherwise you will be up shit butt city.
Just a tip but get the ends of the torsion bars properly cleaned, use a wire brush attachment and go buy some picks and spend a good while making sure all the rust and dirt and shit is out where the washers are otherwise it makes life difficult trying to get them out.
I would say its easier to get everything loosened with the axle off the car, then put the axle back on the car and do the adjustments because its a right clart trying to undo everything in situ
