bargain... (ignore my lack of enthusiasm, I'm just jealous that I'm 18 and can't get under £2000 on a 1.1...)

I'm on my own premium, 18 years old and 1 years NCB. Pay around 900 quid.

Better off going on your own mate, worth it in the long run.

ITs a good quote mate but there are 2 things you need to consider:

1. A VTR at 18 is a pretty quick motor for an inexperienced driver, £800 tpft is a bargain and offers more reason to go fully comp!

2. There are 2 ways to lower your next premium:
# Get older - thats the easy one since most of us grow automatically
# Build up a No Claims Bonus, some companies offer named drivers the ability to build their own no claims, you should consider these companies too.

Just the advice of someone who went tpft on a VTS because it was a cheap quote, now my VTS is in the bin & im out of pocket...

Alway wondered how that worked

IMO mate, u are far better off taking out ur own policy, I went through two years of payin 150 a month, now down to 70 with 2 years NCB, by the time ur 21 (provided u dont crash etc) you'll be cheap as fook on insurance!!!!!!!
