Bushes/antiroll bar links
Got full set of powerflex bushes etc that are going to go on the car when the VTS rear beam goes on.
Is it worth upgrading the front antiroll bar to one from a VTS and would it just bolt on to a 1.1?
also, is there anything else I need to consider in order to improve handling.
thanks scott

Since I nearly put the car sideways into a curb the other week

argh I suppose another £100 isn't going to hurt that much in relation to everything else.

For the full set it looks to be about £100 give or take a little depending on where you look.

Just replaced them for standard brand new ones. But apprently my brakes had been running at 40% of their capability and were about to fail.. lol and that's 1.1 brakes. So it should be a small improvement
I was on holiday and my parentys decided to go for the standards.... I would of gone for some GTI-6 if I knew they had to be replaced but there we go.

You'll nitice a huge difference when you get it lowered fully Scott. Should make a world of difference with the bushes and a top and bottom brace if you havnt already got them

bottom brace will be going on at the same time been sitting in the garage for 2 months as well. The car has finally forced me to get it sorted. It's punished me with the brakes and the driveshafts.
Taking it back to where the driveshafts were replaced 4 months ago to see if I can get them done for free under warranty...

depends what front anti roll bar your car has currently, i have seen some late 106 base models with droplink anti roll bars in which case straight swap.
if you have wishbone mounted one then you need VT* wishbones, VT* anti roll bar, VT* struts(correct driveshaft type) all the clamps and bolts as well as droplinks
