Saxo vtr / C20LET. RWD, 310 bhp project!! PICS UPLOADED!! Page 2!!
Hi guys,
Just as a quick start up for this thread, we have a 2001 saxo vtr, with a c20let engine mounted in the arse end. Engine running approx 310bhp on max setting. Full roll cage, space framed rear end, indipendant suspension on rear, full coilovers, 4pot brembos with 288mm disks.
Will get some pictures uploaded when i get to my computer.
Feel free to ask anythin

Quick q tho - why only 310bhp? The let is a great engine with much more potential!

Paid £700 for the engine as it is. Looking for around the 400bhp mark. Bigger turbo etc.. Have had it running once or twice. Sweet as a nut. Waiting on a test drive atm. Have a 25ltr tank under the bonnet with an evo fuel pump.

Throw some steel rods in it (I can get them cheap)
Standalone,
Big turbo,
Uprated valve springs,
And have some epic funs.
What clutch and gearbox you running?

As mentioned what box are you running please say a f28 oh and it needs more boost

Tbh if it was me I'd throw the f28 in the bin with its shite gear change feel and fit an f23 with its nice smooth cable shift,
And just as strong, cheaper and generally more available and in better condition.

Well I know Z-Cars do a spaceframe back end to fit a saxo/106, and they can put a honda lump or a motorbike engine in that, so it should be possible.
