You scrapping the badger mate?

If you are, are you not gonna take more parts off? (VT kit, badges, interior?) et cetera.

Could sell them mate.

Also, sounds like shit luck on the repairs, £95 for a manifold?! :O... That was the 4-2-1 I hope not the standard right?!

Shit man, you've spent a lot on it to get it through the MOT

Garages are bastards... they charged me £200 to fit some new front dampers. I supplied them as well! Got it back, and they hadn't put the struts back together very well, one of the springs wasn't seated properly, and they didn't bolt one of the brake calipers back on properly

Last time i got to a garage

You need to get a photo whoring session underway

bagder has been scrapped mate. went afew week abck now. VT kit was tiger sealed on and not in amazing condition, so no point in selling that.

Mani was £35 delivered and then £60 from the garage to fit it. At that price maybe i should have bought a 4-2-1 and got a friend to fit it!

Its never had a 1.6 in it either lol. only thing i changed was the box.

excuses excuses!

1 day to spray the S wheels... 1 day tidying it up and its fine to go to the show with a damn good clean before hand!

Doesnt need to be a full on show car! after all last year we were there for the shits and giggles mainly and it was fun all the same!!!

Il give you a hand with the wheels if needs be? or pay £150 and get them powdercoated any color you like through Bondie/Pred whoever was doing it!

That's cheap if that's for four wheels!

Ahh right, another guy in here said it/thought it was a 1.6 16v so I did wonder.

Bloody hell mate, why didn't you fit the manifold yourself? It's Simple (unless the bolts are siezed on under the heat shield).

dude that sucks! whats happened now? I heard through the grape vine that something is a bit wrong again!?
My strutt brace ends are eliptical too! they all do that! but mine is just scratched not bent as im only down 25mm or thats what the springs suggest... tape measure said more like 35mm...

samuel yours is twisted which is worrying when you consider what that bolts to and the shape thats prob been left when the strutt has been removed

Well, this is the latest spanner in the works! or should i say badger in the works.

Apparently the badger disliked being scrapped, so thought it would leave an ACTUAL BADGER dead in the middle of the road to damage the westy.

Long story short, i came round a corner, dead badger in the middle of the road, didnt have time to swurve, thought id go over the top, didnt, smashes into one driveshaft and breaks it in 2.

This is how the driveshaft looked when it was removed:

As you can see its pretty foooked!

On the back of the truck on way back from glastonbury.

Have to say a big thanks to Marc and also to Adzvtr as without them i would have been royally screwed. Marc fitted a driveshaft from adz in about 20mins and had me on my way after i thought car would be off the road for weeks.

Cant recommend Marc enough, he knows what he's talking about and his work is quick and reliable. Thanks man!

Still looking to do a few touches to the westy soon, but im in process of moving out so money is tight.

If any can sort me out a free full respray that'd be awesome lol

yeah they are fairly large things and hitting one as fast i was going (about 40mph - was doing the speed limit as i was on unfamiliar roads) it just mulched it.

but its fixed now. slightly worried the gears seem a bit tough and brakes a bit no responsive sometimes, but maybe its just in my head.

if you wanna buy it then go for it! Its not had anything wrong with it in a while which is good. But needs new tyres. So some new alloys on the way as well.

Like i said though, you wanna buy it back, its yours!

Engine still seems sound though!
