Cheers man, i've got th front traingulation bits but didn't fit them, would have been a lot of extra work and i had to be back before saturday. May fit them in the future though.
It's not too bad getting in and out of, once you get a technique sorted out Looking for a runabout atm though so the sax can get some serious work done to it.

superb progress, makes me "NEED" to get out in the garage and get it sorted are you keeping the MA box when you fit the new bits on the engine or are you going to change to the BE conversion?

cheers for the replies guys, lost a lot of interest in the car in the last few weeks, and to top everything off some pussy keyed all up the drivers side last week which was the icing on the cake.
Progress is officially on hold until i decide wether to contine or not...

Right, car's been off the road for the last month or so, just been sorting a few bits and bobs out on it for the winter.
Found this under the fuse box in the engine bay
So we cut it out! Got rid of all the shit rusty metal.
So made a plate to fit the hole
grinded it down, put a little skim of filler over it and primed it up, you'd never know it was there
Also had rust coming through between the rear arches and the boot floor on both sides, so same process, got rid of the shit rusty metal and put a new plate in.
Only got 1 pic of the back but it gives you an idea of how bad it was!
Anyway as of now, all 4 wheel arches are cleaned, de-rusted and fully undersealed, car is off the road, not driving it through shitty rain and grit again
Got a few bits and bobs to do over the winter but gona hopefully start seeing some real progress once with weather gets a bit better and i've got a bit more cash coming in
