the thing is 'glanzadan', you are trying to say a glanza is better than a saxo. Its like saying one sort of cancer is better than another. they're both shit so your arguement is totally invalid.
and that crap you said about it being for 'japanese car enthusiasts' it isn't at all! it was made for little japanese ladies to do their shopping in as the saxo was designed for little french ladies to do their shopping in. just because a bunch of kids decided to 'tune' them doesn't suddenly make them a 'pedigree race car'. Likewise for the saxo.
they are both shit and no matter what you do or say they will always be shit so grow up and get yourself a decent car instead a micra with a bodykit and a cold.
just to add, 'japanese car enthusiasts' don't really fuck around too much with the little fwd hatches, they are the minority.

I see more chavs in Glanzas than Saxos.
driveshafts and clutches? Well stop doing burn outs and wheelspins then you stoopid chav, you're one of the chavs that you're talking about that you saw in a saxo, in your sun visor mirror.
Work on your grammar aswell, illiterate monkey.
OP its an old thread..a three way race on the M1?

This thread is actually laughable. I'm sat here wondering how many people that slate the Glanza have actually driven on.
Saxo VTS - Cheap french hatchback made for people that want to get from A - B with abit of performance added in. (Not intended for tuning)
Glanza (Phase 2) - A little bit more expensive second hand but the same again. It's just a hatchback from A -B BUT has been built with alot of tuning potential. It's what the Japanese specialise in at the end of the day
R5GTT - Rather dated these days but by far the most iconic. Built to be a lunatic on the road and still are to this day. Do suffer reliability problems but they're what, 20 years old?
I've driven all three of the above. I own a Saxo and I do enjoy it but in terms of driving, the Glanza and R5GTT were certainly quicker than the Saxo. The Glanza under boost was immense, as was the R5GTT.
All in all, the reason the VTS is as quick as it is is purely down to the fact it is lightweight. Anything with 120bhp and less than 950kg is going to be quick. At the end of the day, it comes down to tuning potential and what you're willing to spend. The Glanza and R5GTT are built to be tuned. Can't say the same for a Saxo.
No "Fanboy"ism there!
**Edit**
As for the "Chav" stigma, that would have something to do with costs. You can buy, insure and run a Saxo for alot less than a Glanza or R5GTT which instantly makes them more popular and common. "Chav" cars are just common cars with young people!

Or the saxo is more of a handling rally car?

The reason why joined to to educate you/this fool about Starlets
WRONG
Starlets are for Japanese car enthusiats i have NEVER seen a chav in a starlet or glanza, from a early age chavs either get a Saxo, 106, corsa or a nova, 'Modify' their cars to look like the ones from max power(have you ever seen a Glanza/starlet in max power? NO because there are huge gay body kits and boot installs for them) and then when they have cars a few of them, they go on to buy a 1998 subaru impreza in sliver then put a rally livery on them.
Saxos are well known for being chav wagons - not saying you are but just letting you know. which to be honest im sure saxo's are nice little cars but its the chav icon they have. every saxo in my area are alway chavs, driving them thinking that there driving gods, thinking there king of the road.
I know you are all gunna hate because you are all saxo fan boys but thats my 2 cents
As stated above some where all sporty hatch backs are becoming chavs wagons becuase of the cheapness of them, i wish i could change it but i can't
Because 'hot hatches' are cool little cars.
Rant over
|
Im sorry sir, but up in aberdeen we have hundreds of glanza's going about, and im sorry to say they are all young kids who dress in hoodies and baseball caps, my neighbour has 2, and he is a chav aswell who thinks its a rocket, but it just goes slow as shit and pummels out tons of smoke.
maby where you live they are for "enthusiasts" but up where i live, you see one every 2 mins.

All the cars mentioned are cheap, and relatively cheap to insure which means all sorts own them, when an enthusiast get's hold of them it's a different story entirely, however lots of people work on budgets and like things done cheap not necessarily properly.
I myself, would have a VTS hense...I own one, that said I wouldn't mind boost again, but I couldn't drive a car that is often mistaken for a Micra, regardless of power.
