its not too bad, the power comes in very evenly over a 2000rpm spread, so quite controllable. i love these set ups. they are all you really need on the road - and still plenty for track too.

JESUS H...
thats some difference there.. they do say torque comes with boost.
good to see that actually. kind of prepares me what to expect. and if dan is happy with what he has now then he's going to wet his pants with the higher boost.
colin, is there any way for you to overlap dans, low and high boost graph over the top of a descent spec throttle bodies car??

That torque on the 14psi run looks very noticable lol its mad how much torque increases with psi, would be fun to play between 2500 - 4500 rpm Big smile would be planted on your face me thinks!

just shy of 300bhp per ton in a stripped sax/106 would be more than enough to scare you silly, 400+ cant practically be much faster CAN it??? mabee topend but in the realworld?
dont take that as a derogatory question, id love stuupid power but surely theres a limit to the practicality?

oh trust me it can be much much MUCH faster
imo around 280 on the wheels is practical limit for these in road trim.
after then they start becoming rapidly more awkward to drive and you find yourself limited where you can actually use the power... a road you used to consider fine is now hurrendously bumpy and waiting to throw you off into the horizon, you have to be so careful.

as requested
stock engine at 7psi (broken lines)
and 14psi (solid)
-VS-
division 1A super 1600 C2 rallycross car (dots) (150 hp @ wheels - 9000rpm engine)
bare in mind, engine of that spec is similar cost as dans conversion

its been said a few times..... but fuck me that torque figure looks awesome at 14psi, definatly a nice spread of power, rises sharply and stays in for a good while before nicely tapering off
exactly how a turbo car should run
