Thanks mate!!
Im a mechanic so MOT time isnt an issue
Insurance is a bit more yeah, but for me it actually comes out less for the conversion than insuring a standard VTS. Weird eh!

Got cracking today and ordered disks and a fitting kit for the brakes.
Painted them last night ready for fitting!!
Had a bit of a nightmare removing the old calipers though, one of the carrier bolts decidied to bring the thread out of the strut with it as i unwound it
Had to drill it out and wack a helicoil in there, all tightened up fine after
Anyway a fitted pic -
I hope to get out tomorrow whilst there is still snow on the ground and get some decent pics!!

Very nice mate, one of my favourite cars on the site this. The pedal travel does seem worse but I got used to mine after a while... never bothered fitting a bigger MC. Suppose it isn't a hard job for yourself though!

Thanks alot mate!!
Yeah i find you have to push the pedal further before they start to bite, and a second hand m/c isnt going to cost alot!

Its been a while since the last update and a fair bit has happened since then.
Back in december i had i bit of an accident in the snow resulting in this-
I slid down a hill and into a toyota RAV-4, must of been doing less than 10mph on impact. The headlight took the worst of it (in the pic is a new one) and it damaged the wing, bumper and bonnet as well as my NCB!! It also bent the front crossmember to which the headlight mounts, not much but enough to make a nice big gap between the bonnet and headlight.
It stayed like that for a few months and i kinda fell out of love with the car for a while. In the end i got fed up with looking at it all damaged so got my arse in gear and started fixing it.
Firstly stripped out the front of the car and used chains to pull out the crossmember and get the headlight sitting right.
Once this was done i sourced a second hand bumper in amazon green and it was off to the bodyshop for repair and paint.
In the mean time ive fitted one of these- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-Saxo-V...item4a9faaf25f
And a 24mm rear ARB
(The 24mm is the top one)
The car came back from the bodyshop on friday so this weekend ive has a spring clean. I did-
Wash
Clay
Wash
Hand polish
Glaze
Wax
Tyres & Trim
Door shuts
Interior
Windows + RainX
A Few Pics...

Your 307 callipers look identical to my 307 HDi setup, but mine ate 283mm, I wonder if they are the same but your running smaller disks? not sure if thats possable...
I want your exhaust centre section! looks lush!
Looks like a sweet ride so far!

Thanks mate! My calipers are deffinately for a 266mm disk, there is no way a 283 would fit, it wouldnt clear the carrier...
