That's my problem with people not liking MW3 and saying "it's the same", you’re perfectly entitled to ofc lol.. and It sure is! But what would you change? Saying it's the same without knowing what you'd change is pretty pointless.. And it goes to show how hard it is to change a winning formula like COD where everything is trying to be balanced.. It is an FPS after all, arguably a purer FPS as there aren't the vehicles that they have in BF3 for example so they can't add that element.
I'm not a COD fanboy at all btw, I just don't understand this view.

I will always rate IW games over Treyarch.. Imo MW1 was the best COD for online, but they really can't add much more without it getting silly imo. There's already like a billion gear combinations - starting to feel like an RPG! .

tbh most of you were aware it would be pretty similar, but you still bought it.
crymoar.
I play both but found MW3 more fun but BF3 has points like ninja killing, team work etc.

I was expecting something that looked a lot better, felt a lot fresher with more exiting features, but had the same ones. Yeah I see why they did it - if it was one of the best online games, then why change it? I just personally felt a little disappointed.
And John_G, I didn't buy it for that reason.

People who play Battlefield seem to have this ego boost that they're somehow better than mw3 players and it's fucking sad beyond belief. We both sit in a house staring at a monitor shooting people online. It's nothing to brag about.
"yeah but there's more tactics involved with BF3" Go you!! You sit there planning your game out with your e-friends and get more imaginary kills and take it so seriously it bothers you when a similar game is on the market.
Not a MW3 fanboy either. Wouldn't say I'm a fan boy of anything computer game related but this clique that bf3 makes you superior to others is like bragging about having b8's and strut braces.

Come at me Br0
Lol how the hell am I playing the hardguy? I play xbox just as much as the OP. But I don't feel the need to post a thread up stating how my game is so much better than the competition.

My poor attempt at sarcasm... Neither game is better, each to their own tbh.

Thing is I don't care about the fight between the two - I was looking forward to both games as I thought they'd both be great for different reasons.
I'll probably still pick up MW3 as it does seem 'fun', it's just I was hugely disappointed with it :/

Talk about weapon balance etc, Noob tube was only counter to campers hiding in windows etc, and now you cant tube them, lol.

'Battlefield 3's awe-inspiring tank battle demonstration at E3 was run on a PC, and it wasn't to make a statement about mouse-and-keyboard superiority. The game, according to developer DICE, will run at 60 frames per second on the PC—but 30 fps on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Call of Duty's latest entries run at 60 fps, both PC and console, to deliver that smoove gameplay. Of course, Battlefield 3 is touting a higher level of visual detail, including fully destructible environments, larger maps, etc.
While 30 fps sounds pretty crap, this isn't unprecedented; Crysis 2 ran at 30 fps on consoles. And Battlefield 3's PS3 demonstration, in Luke's eyes, was still pretty good-looking.
To repeat, Battlefield 3 is 60 fps on the PC, which it had better goddamn well be. I don't want to imagine the rioting if it were anything less. Such things matter intensely to the glorious PC gaming master race. Do they matter for the console peasants?'
That is all .

I don't think I'm better than MW3 players at all.
What I think is that I play a better game. I really do not understand why anyone could think MW3 is better than BF3. I can't help but think that MW3 players have bought nothing but a frigging expensive add-on.
I mean, what have you got that's new? Guns? Perks? Maps? Game modes? All of which are being released for BF3 in an add-on.
I think one statement in almost every review says the same thing." The COD engine is looking old and showing its age"

At end of the day who gives a fuck what game is 'better' in their opinion.
If you enjoy playing that's all what matters.
I had BF2 on the pc and the graphics would rape the Xbox. The game was very good but for me, it drags out too long, too much time consuming and bullshit.
I prefer to stick on the Xbox and have a few quick games on COD multi-player which I find much more enjoyable. I simply don't have the time or can't be fucked to sit at a game for hours on end just to complete 1 game.
