Just finished the campaign of BF3, actually really enjoyed it. Playing it on hard this time round for the cheevy though.

Ive found BF a lot more challenging to play. Used to regularly have a 2:1 k/d on games of cod. Seldom happens on BF though.

i've got both and honestly think MW3 is better, both online and in campaign and that's despite telling people for months BF3 was going to destroy COD this year, i think i was wrong, but apparently not..

battlefield 3 is better than mw3, played mw3 campain then online and thought it was utter shit, makes mw2 look like it came out after it! battlefield more playable becuase you have to put a right shift in on there. mw2 i prefered over battlefield bc2

That's because all the 12 year olds will keep buying cod, no matter how terrible the game actually is.
Allthough im not saying cod terrible... if you love getting randomly spawned in a cramped enviroment, then getting shot by some no-scoping dickhead stood in a corner with his perks. Its the game for you. 
To be honest they are completely different games. Cod's an unrealistic quickfire arcade game, whilst battlefield is verging much more on the realism side of things with a larger scale and more varied (i.e. vehicles/planes) warzone.

I played MW3 the other day - was actually a little disgusted on how much hype was built up on a game that looked and felt EXACTLY the same as its previous title. HUD, Perks, weapons, etc. It was the same!
They've put a huge amount into BF3, and with its Frostbite engine & amazing sounds, I think I'm going to have to go with BF3. MW3 is way over rated.

i've come to realise that all cod is you spawn in a random place run around shoot get shot respawn and continue the cycle of boredom, where as BF3 has more a challenge to play online, and im not going to get some gimp screaming YOU STOLE MY KILL IM GOING TO HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU bit extreme on cod if you ask me whereas Bf3 i found that people are actually happy to have been helped
