I know the car is long dead and gone, but I got an old camera out today to take pictures of the 106 race car project as the picture quality on an iphone 3gs is rubbish.
Anyway I found these pictures on the camera, I love them and just realised that I never posted them so I thought I'd post them on here
Cheers Moo

LOL about the Clio!
The build thread on the Clio is on Cliosport.net, not sure if you have to be a member to read it, but its definitely a good read.
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showt...ort-conversion
We stopped posting on the tread once it made it on the road as its more fun to use than talk about. Just currently trying to make it quiet enough to use properly on track after being repeatedly black flagged for noise at several trackdays.
Now building the 106 racecar to hopefully chase the Clio with, but worked out I need to get the 106 weight down to 720Kg ish to have a simialr power to weight as the Clio lol

Damn I miss your old sax Moo As I've said before it was a big influence on my opinion of saxo's.
Do you still have that mini tucked away somewhere or has that been sold on?

Cheers mate! Hoping the 106 will be as brilliant as the Clio and Saxo are/were
The 1275GT is still going well, just getting ready to set about removing the rust (irrepairable rust but some people standard lol).
Acid dipped on a roll over spit in the garage, I just need to finish with using the welder to fit my cage then we can get on

Nice mini rotisserie!! Based on previous cars and how the rallye is going you will make a right beast!
Always a fair amount of rust on mini's but the shell is never too far gone haha. Its looking good and make sure you keep us or at least me updated with the mini's progress I've always been a sucker for a clubman!

We aren't faised by the mini rust, I was joking about what happened to my old Saxo lol!
The Clio will be at fcs this year and we're quite friendly if anyone wants to have a poke round it and chat to us about it lol

Always good to see pics of your old Saxo Beanie.
Always never fail to be amazed with the work you and Moo pull out of the bag. Will keep an eye out for you both at FCS.
