Slow connection?
We get free orange broadband but since the wife has renewed her contract it appears to have slowed down alot
The connection seems okies but the upload speed is ridiculously slow? seem to have issues watching streaming stuff like youtube. I keep getting "low bandwisth" problems with the bbci player too
Any of you techies see any problem here?

Your upload speed shouldn't effect streaming youtube, iplayer etc. Download speed is enough to stream and watch videos no problems, must be a problem somewhere else. Have you tried rebooting the net and PC?

maybe because its free ? and more and more users are getting it so the connection is going to get slower and slower.. i doubt they would give you 20mb connection each etc ye they give you free internet but do they state what speeds etc? also depends on how far away the exchange is away..

Well we've had it free for 3 years till now and been fine, just cos it's free doesn't mean it can be shit, i mean it's only "free" cos the missus signed up to an 18 month contract with them

Orange only offer 448kbps upload so thats about right Paul. I know a few ISP's are now offering 768k and more.
Upload wont affect streaming.

Call up your ISP and report the issue. Could be down to so many things:
1 - incorrect your installation your end
2 - faulty router
3 - your BT line is too long to support what product your on
4 - theres a fault on the BT line
