IIRC the jp4 specific cams arent as wild as the j4 cams, due to clearance issues, hence why people have issues running there j4 cams in jp4's. So i'm not sure they would give as good power. Why not just run j4 specific cams? Plenty knocking around for sale second hand.

It is a very good power figure, reliable rollers? Also that would have been in the jp4 i imagine, which is obviously the engine they were made for. So it looks like they will fit just not perfectly.

If that is the case, then I wonder why the prices for the C2 and Saxo/Pug version are different. Hmm makes you wonder eh !

yehh if you look on kam racing the only difference between saxo 1s and the c2 1s are the c2 1s are very slightly lower lift

If the 708's are j4 specific just fit those? Proven to work and as discussed the c2 ones will likely have slightly less lift.

Because we sell crap loads more saxo ones. Economies of scale....
The C2 cams are designed to sit properly over the valves but also are not as wild as the valvetrain is weak and the ecu has a fit when really fruity camshafts are used in the c2.

as kam said the cams are offset in a c2 you can use either but the lobes dont hit the followers perfectly plus the other draw backs kam mentioned
also take that 162bhp figure with a massive pinch of salt, its a well known fact that chip wizards over read by miles
im expecting 155bhp when my car is mapped in a few weeks with jenveys and 708's, with ph3's id looking more around 167bhp annoyingly enough
there is noway a milder cam with a standard inlet will make anything close to 150bhp, 160+ is such a large figure its laughable, rolling road figures are only useful if you always use the same rollers to compare figures before and after

you wont see any gain by using the saxo ph3 over 708's
