What Would You Do?
I'll try not to ramble to much but thought I'd get everyone's opinion.
Driving home from McD's last night down a relatively narrow street when I came to a woman lying on the ground right in the middle of the road. Wasn't quite sure what to do but a lone female (passer by) also stopped. At this point I got out the car as I wasn't going to leave them on their own.
My first thought was possible ploy for car theft so I got out, locked the Golf and put the keys in my pocket.
As I approached the female there was no movement but I DID notice a male stood around the corner about 20 feet away. We looked at each other, he said nothing.
I bent down beside the female and tried talking to her and rocking her gently. No movement, no answer, nothing. At this point the male started walking over and just stood there looking at me. I asked him if she was OK and he said nothing. I then asked him to help me move her onto the pavement out of the way of the road. He said nothing.
As soon as I tried to move her myself, he went mental. He launched me across the road and started screaming "Don't help her, leave her alone!"
At this point I backed off abit and tried talking to him. He just carried on shouting and walking towards me. At this point I decided enough was enough. I got in the car and drove away slowly so that I was beside the passer-by to make sure she was OK.
Did I do the right thing in leaving her? What would you have done?
Can't help but wonder if she's OK... but I wasn't putting my safety, my girlfriends safety or the other girls safety at risk by causing more trouble.
*Awaits the keyboard warriors who would've killed him*

Might of been worth staying around the corner out of sight or something and phoning the police.
what you did was right, you havent added anything unnecessary to the situation.

I would have called the old bill and ring all nearby doors to ask for assistance.

As above really.
You did the right thing by not elevating the situation but I would have stayed close by and called the police, god knows what that bloke must have done to the girl on the floor but it sounds fucked up either way.

Wouldnt have done shit. Getting involved in that kind of crap will end up with you getting mugged, stabbed, raped or shot. Possibly all 4

You did right, just out of curiosity were the people involved white or Asian? Yes in an instance like this it could make a difference.

Run the bloke over. That's if he jumped infront of your car when you got back in. Probably might have been an idea to stay close by and ring police, but in all honesty I'd have got away and stayed away, could have been more blokes just up the road for all you know

What are you thinking? That maybe he didn't want her being touched because of religion or something?

Call the police as soon as the fella booted off, their payed to be heros and because firstly if he kicks your head in, or if you fight back then you risk getting done for assault or having to prove self defence.... Either way nightmare. Drive away call old bill and watch from a distance.

In the end I went home (literally 3 doors around the corner), called the police and watched from our window.
They were Polish for whoever asked above.

I think you did well, although I would of phoned the police. Bloke who used to work at my place pulled up to some cones across the road, he jumped out to move them, got jumped and the car nicked.

This was the first thing I thought of to be honest. You hear the stories all the time.
Because of work, I'll always try to help somebody if I can.

Lol this? What a muppet.
Did you even feel for a pulse or breathing? The man pushed you away so push the cunt back and explain to him what you are doing.
How can you even drive away from a situation like that tbh?

Not the same but similiar, i saw a cat on the road once which got hit by a car late at night. Me and my friends waited in my car for like 45 minutes for the rspca to get there
