Default VTS Tyre size

So I put 195/50/15 tyres on my vts alloys and it rubs ever so slightly. If I put 10mm spaces on with that give me the right clearance? I'm thinking yes as I've added 10mm in profile. Can anyone confirm?

Spacers only affect offset. You need clearance up and downy ways, not inny outy.

Standard tyre size on VTS alloys are 195/45/15, people do run 50 profile but Im guessing yours is lowered which is why its causing you problems.

Sorry I don't think I explained very well, it's not up and down, it rubs ever so slightly when on full lock and I'm talking just touching. Why I was thinking a 10mm spacer would give me the clearance I need.

Owww now I get ya.

aye that would work, I take it it's rubbing on the chassis leg? Spacer would work there, BUT you might start wearing through your wheel arch line, or through the washer bottle depending on how low the car is.

I'm not too low at the minute so I should be fine. Cheers for confirming mate.
