Let me rephrase, anyone used this stuff or something similar and had a positive result e.g. wont start flaking of after a week.

That stuff will be shite. Go to your local Wilco and buy some smoked effect tint. i used it on my rear lights and they look alright, plus the light still shows through well and it hasn't peeled off.

I wet sanded my rear lights with 600 grit sandpaper if i remember correctly, the can says you don't have to but it will help the spray stick if you do.

ive used 'etech' tint spray before. Works well... just do a couple coats on the outside. No need for sanding or lacquer and light shines through fine aslong as you dont put too many layers on

Used that e-tech stuff ages ago on first car, works well enough, as said just do it very lightly, evenly and just a couple of coats. The lights will still come through fine

Seemed very watery if you get me lol

But got the job done and no flaking. Looks good imo
