Ah right, I always wondered why there was never any decent mani's for the 98 vtr as the port spacing on that looks alot more suited than the 90 vtr's from the outside at least, can't comment on the angles in the head as I can't remember lol
How much are they planning on selling the mani for? Same as the other 8v one?

Yeah the port spacing and design is ALOT better than the earlier engines only downside is the roller rocker type head. but this isn't an issue to be honest I can get head work later on to get this improved
Yeah the same prices as the existing kit £550 is what i paid in total (excluding the bodies themself)
Which for what they are is a bargain in my eyes....

Cheers dude, it's getting so close now I have all the parts sitting at home (apart from the filter) so I'll take some funky pics later to get the thread updated. I'm going to take the car of the road to a month or two in October to get it all fitted along with the cage which is jizz material on it's own lol....
Yeah I still want to get it dyno'd before I change anything to get a base figure...
Also I may fit the cam next week as I have a week off because I'm impaitent then closer to October it'll purely be the bodies and ecu

I'm on the look out for a second hand head in 'decent' condition and I'm going to give it to a my brothers old lecturer at college (he studied motorsport engineering) and he is going to have a little play

Yeah it's just sourcing a 'decent' one is annoying and plus I'll have to wait until September ish to buy it do to all the parts ive just bought and the cage .... but definitely by 2011 the car will be done (well the throttle body side of things lol still a lot left lol)...

Yeah imagine then when your knackered and driving home at like 1 in the morning not cool.. lol
Hopefully I'll be sorting it at the weekend and yeah the rain stuff is awesome but like I said so distracting ... because you try and let lots of water go when your stationary and you can hardly see out but you drive off and its like woooossshhhh its gone! lol....

Looks shit mate, may as well sell it all
Shame there aint a plug and play for the 3 plug yet, would save a good bit of cost with the wiring of the ecu.
Good to see someone doing it to a vtr as well, always fancied a vtr on bodies, as it aint all about horse power. Smiles per hour not miles per hour

Lol fancy buying then
Yeah I was hoping the Predator would be done in time but nope so the omex may work out for the better if the build does change over time
Thanks though, at least someone appreciates it being done on an 8v, as thats the exact reason I drive a car to enjoy it and it doesn't have to be silly power for the sheer fun you can have even with 8 valves..
