General Car BS !
Just fancied a giggle whats the best BS you have heard of someone, for me its got to be guy at work telling me about his old escort and how it had a top speed of 105 then goes on to tell me he bought a bottle of nos (the type you pour in petrol tank like red ex fuel flush) from halfords then he said it did 135 or my mate that rang me up telling me about his new backbox thats a guaranteed 15bhp on a 1.2 corsa and no matter how much i told him it was bollox he was convinced.
Whats the best Bullshit you've heard ?

Just general bollocks from those type of thick cunts that don't have a clue. Eg apparently a standard shitbox fiesta st would piss all over a turbo vts, yeh ok then.
Nothing winds me up more than people who just chat blatant bollocks when talking about cars and stuff, what makes them do it?

I work with a Latvian who is convinced his 13 year old Audi A8 is better than any car that's 6 years old for around 5k.

Oh but hes picked his numbers carefully...
There's a lot an a8 can own in that bracket. Depends how you define better. Not a lot of 6 year old cars for £5k that are quicker top end for example. Equally a £4k scooby will roast an a8 round the track.

It's a 2.8V6, it can't beat my 1.9TiD Saab Vector Sport.
It wasn't about top end etc, it was just better quality and less worn parts etc.

Endless stories of Shell V Power and 'beating' 911's ect.
And don't even get me started on the subject of motorbikes.
The amount of bullshit is unreal. 'Oh yeah i've been meaning to do my test...'
I'm not allowed one from the GF
I'd kill myself on one of them things

Ive had shit loads of arguments with boy racers round here for the amount of BS they tell me..
Ive had my 106 1.1 is 105bhp, with a big bore exhaust, and head work. Yes of course.
Another, my ibiza cupra 20vt, its had new engine from a audi tt, the 2.0 20vt.. Again no such thing.
All sort round here lol

theres one lad that lives in the same town as me who has a c2gt with a cat back exhaust and one of those shitty ebay superchips, and claming its producing 190bhp..... so i keep offering him a chance to have a little play against my turbo'd vts, and hes always saying hes got to go off and do something else lol

Ha ha I had that from a lad who came for a gti spoiler fitting to his 106. Turns out it did actually have 110bhp from a 1.1 with tb's and loads of other work and he works at rs tuning in Leeds I actually made a huge cock of myself tbh.

1/4 mile at pod against this mong i know, 1.7cdti corsa c, 2 secs slower than me, came out with the classic line.. 'yeah but 2 secs isnt that far away!' over a quarter of a mile mate, a quarter of a mile.
endless stories (same kid) of 'beating' 172's and vts's everywhere he goes etc etc.

Fair enough If he proves it and it actually the real deal, but this guy works in citroen as a quick fitter, the 106 was white with blue racing stripes, 2 bucket seats and steels, wasnt lowered, and it had a 4'' back box.
No TBs, no 4 branch system, no mapping, just the back box and straight through and the magical head work!!
Its a 101bhp it made sorry, on a RR in collage...
The same RR my mates standard mk1 VTR with 120k miles, redlined in every gear in its ownership, with no back box and net been serviced in 2+ years make 112bhp..

Why would they be bullshit? The reason I don't have a motorbike is because my ex said she'd walk away if I did. Plus the fact i'd be dead in a week!
